Ratcheting Mule Shoe
The ratcheting mule shoe is a spring loaded mule shoe re-entry tool used to continually index or rotate when it locates the top of a shoulder or packer.

This assembly assists in entering permanent packers as the lower most part of the seal assembly. The ratcheting or indexing mule shoe should be used in all completions were the ability to rotate the tubing string is limited.

Applications include dual completion strings, control line installations for safety valves, chemical injection completions or when the use of down hole gauges are installed. It is available in various sizes for the final completion.

This assembly can be retrieved with a straight over pull that overcomes the friction of the seal units in the polished bore.

Threading can be manufactured to match production seal unit thread specifications. We also provide the seal units for this assembly in various element variations depending on the fluids, temperatures, and down hole conditions. I.e. molded seals, ATR Premium, Ryton Etc.
